Alexa and her Braids

While taking Alexa’s braids out of her hair for bath time:

Me: “I’m sorry honey, I know I hurt your head a bit when I do this. I’m terrible at it.”

Alexa: “It’s okay Mommy, you aren’t terrible. You are horrible at it.”

Me: “Well, as long as I’m horrible and not terrible. Thank you, sweetie.”
